Page 1 of 3 Sanjiv Dubey, Indian Link reports: I was all dressed up in my formals. My good-looking wife, who had gone to great lengths with her designer ensemble, cut a stunning figure. We were both looking forward to the red carpet. It was after all, the Oscars of the sporting fraternity – a gala Sports Awards night. But no, it wasn’t the Brownlows we were going to. This was way more starry. It was India Sports Club (ISC) Sydney’s annual award ceremony. And no, it was at no glitzy casino, but on a wonderful cruise on beautiful Sydney Harbour. So much more classy. It was classy also because those facilitated included not only the winners, but also all the other participants in the year-long tournaments in the sports of cricket, badminton and table tennis. The three decked cruise boat was definitely well lit and was looking more like a well dressed bride as it welcomed about 300 passionate sports loving people from Sydney’s Indian-Australian community.
